Heat Blast

It’s hot here.  Really, really hot.  In the 90’s every day…and our air conditioning decided to quit last night.  Thankfully it was frozen and it didn’t take long to thaw in the heat so our house was cool by the time we went to bed.

Last year I bought Cora a baby pool which she loves.  We stay out on the back deck and she splish-splashes for hours (If I let her). Sometimes she plays in her bathing suit, sometimes in her clothes…and sometimes in the nude…depending on if I planned ahead at all.  The one thing you can be sure of, she is always covered in sunscreen.

She waters the flowers.

She waters herself.

I’m thankful to have something that can keep her entertained for hours…

We are actually planning on finishing the kitchen this weekend…all but the hardwood.  That’ll come last as we are still saving.  Hopefully soon though…I am loving new/old kitchen but the lack of organization finally started to drive me insane.  So Justin agreed to work on it this Saturday…as long as I keep baby out of the way.

I have my 15 week appointment tomorrow.  I promise to get a belly shot and post it.  I was never good at taking belly pictures when I was pregnant with Cora and I am terrible this time.

I have been a bad blogger lately…a combination of pregnancy sickness, then pregnancy fatigue, busyness, allergies…then the tornado…Hoping to get back on track as I do enjoy keeping a journal of my life (even if it is online).  Hope you are all having a great week and staying cool!  ‘Til tomorrow!

Grace, looking at these pictures is so much fun! Of course Cora can be a handful at times but you are so blessed. She is one adorable baby with a great disposition.

Give that little one a hug for me today! 🙂

We’re planning on getting Christian a baby pool soon. They look like so much fun. I wish Christian and Cora could have a playdate. 🙂

I can’t wait to see your belly shot. I have always been terrible at taking those too. I think part of it is that I really don’t like having a big belly! lol. Although I love the results.

I just got the kids a kiddie pool, and then it started to rain. Not complaining though, it’s been soooo dry here! Love the pic of Cora watering herself, ha! This age is so fun! Hope the pregnancy sickies are on the mend soon…
    And, your kitchen looks AWESOME!
